I Like The Way You Think
As individuals, finding and being with people who think the way we do can be good. But beyond aligning with our own thoughts, we need to seek out those who encourage and build us up. Senior Pastor Norman Howell preaches on 'I Like The Way You Think.' The sermon emphasizes the importance of encouraging ourselves by thinking positive thoughts about ourselves through the power of Jesus. It reminds us that we can find hope in knowing we can change and grow.
Additionally, as we reason together, we begin to focus on what is noble, rather than what is not; on what is just, instead of what is unjust; and on what is pure. The sermon emphasizes that we cannot purify our hearts and minds without the forgiveness, grace, and mercy of God in our lives. As we think, we are called to adopt the mentality of asking God to "heal my thinking about myself."
