Lay It Down and Rise Up

For our Resurrection Sunday service, Senior Pastor Norman preaches on 'Lay Down and Rise Up'. The message is calling us to lay down and rising ourselves up. We are able to do this because we are made in the image of God and we have the opportunity to do this.

John 15:13 says, "Greater love has no one than this: to lay down one's like for one's friends. Just as Jesus laid His life down for us. We are called to go into situations where we don't feel appreciated. Where we are called to go out into the dark regions (staying connected, having a lifeline of prayer, and support), and God is calling us to compel others to come in to His greatness and love.

If we truly are Christ like, we need to believe that in those moments we will rise up because of Jesus. It may seem like an impossibility; it can be done due to His sovereignty and power through the calling He has given us.
