How it all started...
Married 46+ years, Pastors Norman & Sandra Howell have had a diverse and impactful ministry on three continents with a major focus on Latin America as well as the United States. In 1983 they founded the Laredo Church of the Crossroads with the idea of seeing a duplication of their efforts through team ministry on a greater scale. They have a great love for South Texas and the border region. They minister from the heart and yet offer stability and vision for all generations.
What We Believe...
We affirm the Holy Bible as the inspired Word of God, and as the only basis for our beliefs.
We believe the Bible is the inspired and only infallible
and authoritative written Word of God.
We believe there is one God, eternally existent in three persons,
God the Father, God the Son, and God the Holy Spirit.
We believe in the deity of our Lord Jesus Christ, in His virgin birth,
in His sinless life, in His miracles, in His vicarious and atoning death,
in His bodily resurrection, in His ascension to the right hand of the Father,
in His bodily future return to this earth in power and glory.
We believe the only means of being cleansed from sin is through
repentance and faith in the precious blood of Christ.
We believe regeneration by the Holy Spirit is absolutely essential for personal salvation.
We believe in the sanctifying power of the Holy Spirit by whose indwelling
the Christian is enabled to live a holy life.
We believe the redemptive work of Christ on the cross
provides healing of the human body in answer to believing prayer.
We believe the baptism in the Holy Spirit, according to Acts 2:4, is given to believers who desire to receive this gift.
We believe in the resurrection of both the saved and the lost,
the one to everlasting life and the other to everlasting damnation.
Where we are headed...
We are beyond excited to see what God has in store for the current and future generations for our spiritual community here in Laredo, Texas.
Be a part of our future...
